Current Events:
Christmas is coming.  Cole went and got a photo with Santa.  We are going to see Roman's family.
Teresa graduated from Leadership Otero.  At her banquet she took Cole with her and the Governor of  New Mexico popped in and said hello.  She went straight to Cole and was patting his head said he was, "adorable."

At work:
Roman is getting ready to go to NCO Academy.  He should be there the 1st week of January and finish mid February.

Teresa got a listing since the last post and it is already under contract!  It is a home that needs a lot of improvement.

Current Events:
Happy Thanksgiving to all!  For Thanksgiving this year, we had our German neighbors come over and we made them a traditional Thanksgiving meal.  Teresa cooked.  She made turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, rolls, deviled eggs, gravy, sweet potatoes, green beans, cherry pie, pumpkin pie, and apple pie.  Roman mashed the potatoes. 

Sorry we haven't been posting here as frequently.  Baby Cole is keeping us busy!  And now he is 1 month old!  He eats frequently and sleeps a lot during the day and not so well at night.  At least it seems that way...  He is now almost outgrown his newborn clothes.  There are a few he is able to wear still but a tight fit on others.  Here are the newborn photos of Cole.  https://picasaweb.google.com/117367326587005770130/ColeNewbornPhotos?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCMvypr3JjO_ByQE&feat=directlink

At work:
Roman is working another new schedule--nights.  We hope that it will help us with Cole's schedule. 
Teresa is working on getting a listing.  She got the call the day she went into the hospital to get induced.  It has been a long road, but hopefully it will be a quick sell!  Will keep you posted on that.

Pet news:
Roman is determined that he will train Buster how to use a toilet.  We will see!!!!

Current Events: Teresa and Roman are now parents!!!  Last Tuesday, October 18th, Teresa went into the hospital to get induced.  From Tuesday to Thursday, she did many procedures to be induced.  Finally, at 10 pm on Thursday, they ran out of options to have a regular birth.  They told her she needed a C-Section to have the baby.  



At 11:26 pm Cole Alexander Scott Morey was born.  He weighted 7lbs 14 oz, 20.5 inches long, and he's head size was 36 cm.

Today Cole is 7 days old.  He spent the last 2 days in a mini tanning bed.  It was really for light therapy

At work:

Teresa closed before she left to go into labor. :)  YAY!!!



Pet news:
Alley and Buster aren't sure what is going on.

Current Events:
The crib is together.  Roman did it a few weeks ago. And we were waiting for a mattress which we just got.  YAY!!!  So the bedroom is almost 100% complete.  Still not sure what to name him...
Other things to do...Teresa still needs to pack her bag for the hospital.  Hope to get this done by the end of the weekend.  Next Dr apt is the 13th.  Everything seems to be on track. 

At work:
Teresa had a contract with one of her customers but it fell through--and then they found an even better house with an earlier closing! It should close before the birth of the baby!
Roman is still on mids. but may be back to days by the time the baby is here.  Roman was sick most of last week. 

Pet news:
Teresa took Alley to the dog park last week.  She got hot and decided to sit in the drinking water.

Current Events:

Here is his face and arm.

Went to the Dr. and got our 3rd Ultra Sound.  No 3D pics this time.  As of yesterday, Teresa was suppose to be 31 weeks and 5 days.  They measured the head and said it is measuring at 34 weeks.  So either the baby is further along than they thought or he has a big head like his father.  They did move the due date up to (October 8th.)

At work:
Teresa has a deal under contract.  Hoping for a November Closing.  Keep your fingers crossed.
Roman's shop is splitting and he will probably be going back to days soon (a month or 2 from now).

Pet news:

All seems to be well with Alley and Buster.  We think Alley misses Roger.  But she seems to be doing better.  Roman takes her for long walks to the quary across the street from our house and wears her out.

Current Events:
Today is Teresa's sister's birthday!!! HAPPY 29th (again) BIRTHDAY Tonia!! :) 
She had her baby shower yesterday.  Thanks to Kristina Cooper & her mother, Susan (she and her family were bought a house from her back in April) it was a success!  Below are some photos from the shower and the gifts she has received.  There is a doctor visit coming up this week.


At work:
Teresa put in an offer for her customer.  We shall see how it goes Monday or Tuesday.  Roman is probably going to a class soon.  Still waiting for more details.


Pet news:
Roger is now at Roman's parents house.  Alley seems to behaving because she doesn't want to be next??

End of July

Current Events:

As the end of July wraps up, Teresa is now 29 weeks.  Depending on what book you read, I'm 7 or 8 months now.

Your Baby: Month 7

Baby’s energy is surging, thanks to the formation of white fat deposits beneath the skin. (Have those kicks and jabs to the ribs tipped you off yet?) Baby is also settling into sleep and waking cycles, though -- as you’ve also probably noticed -- they don’t necessarily coincide with your own. Also this month, all five senses are finally functional, and the brain and nervous system are going through major developments.

We went to Texas to visit the Morey clan.  His mother got us more diapers, wipes, and outfits for Baby Morey, who still is nameless.  During the trip, Diana had to go to Austin, TX for work for 4 days.  Teresa went with.  A day and a half, Teresa went to visit her best friend in Houston, TX, Lynette Miller.  They grew up a block apart from each other and have known each other since 6th grade and went to middle, high, and college together.  They haven't seen each other since 2007 when Lynette came to England to visit.  They had a great time and went to the Gallera in Houston, ate at the Cheesecake Factory, and also went to China Town.  Teresa got to experience a lot of new things and some old ones that she doesn't get to experience in Alamogordo.

On the way to see Lynette in Houston, Teresa went to get an autograph for the Broker at Affinity from an author who wrote a book on Real Estate.  His name is Ken Brand the book is called, "Less Blah Blah, More Ah-ha."  He was nice enough to give Teresa her very own autographed copy.

Roman was in Texas with his brother, Brandon, and father who were both off for the week.  They worked on cars and played golf.  They also hung out with his good friends the Lange's. 

At work:
Roman is working Mids.  Taking the week off is going to ruin his sleep schedule!

Pet news:
Roger is now at living at Roman's parents.  Just been a few hours since we left him and Alley seems to be missing him.  She hasn't been as hyper.

Current Events:
We got our maternity photos done and below is a sneak peak or our session.  It was really different for Teresa to be on the other side of the camera and felt weird!

At work:
Roman just got switched to another shift.  It is going to be a bit of an adjustment.

Here is a maternity photo since there haven't been any in a bit.  Teresa at 25 weeks.  We are going to schedule professional maternity photos very soon and are looking forward to it.

July 1st

Current Events:
Last weekend our good friends, the Meltons--Shaye, Jody (also pregnant), and their 2 year old daughter Madelyn, came to visit us.  We met them in England and now they are stationed in Texas.  We went up to Ruidiso, a mountain town with some shops to get away from the heat.  The next day we went to the White Sands.  Madelyn LOVED it.  She kept calling it snow!  She couldn't wait to get out of the car to go sledding.  She really enjoyed herself, but after about 45 minutes, she was done!

Teresa is now in her 25th week.  She went to the doctor this week, everything is going well.  She got a tetanus shot and Roman got her ice cream for being good.

At work:
Teresa has switched offices.  She no longer works at Exit Advantage Realty.  She decided to move to a larger, but non-franchised office here in town, called Affinity. Here is their web site: http://www.myalamogordomove.com/

Pet news:
It is too much to keep both Roger and Alley here in our house now.  We are going to have to send Roger to live with Roman's mom.  He and Alley get in fights for no reason and the last one, Teresa got bit.
