Memorial Day Weekend

Extra post!

Teresa cannot make it into a lot of her shirts any longer.  She feels that she has grown overnight!

This weekend we spent it cleaning and we also went to a BBQ on Saturday and to the Southern NM Wine Festival in Las Cruces on Monday with friends, Adam and Julie Hayes.  This was the 2nd time for Roman and Teresa, but this time Teresa didn't get to taste.  Roman spent a lot of his time working on his car.

 Pet news:
Alley is jumping on the fence again.  We will have to re-install the electric fence until she stops jumping over the wall into the neighbor's yard.  Until then, they are confined to their kennels when they are alone at home until they learn to behave.

Below is a photo of Roger with his cast on.  For some reason he finds this comfortable...
He should get the cast removed this week.

May 27, 2011

Current Events: Now Teresa is 19 weeks along.  We need to make this clear to everyone, we still do not know the sex of the baby.  Teresa's mom sent her both boy and girl clothes, but the girl clothes are way more cute so that is why they were included in the last blog entry.

Next Dr. visit is June 6.  At that visit, I should receive my referral to get the ultrasound to determine the sex.

If anyone would like to send any gifts, we are currently registered at http://www.target.com/ under Teresa Morey or Roman Morey in New Mexico.  We are actually having problems with our registry, and it won't let us add or delete items from it.  We do have a dresser & crib from Roman's parents.  We also have a few outfits and onesies from Teresa's mom in newborn sizes.

From http://www.thebump.com/ :

Your Baby: Week 19

Vernix caseosa, a greasy white substance made of lanugo, oil and dead skin cells (yum) now coats baby's skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid. (Picture yourself after a nine-month bath, and the need for protection makes sense.) You might actually get to see the vernix at birth, especially if baby is premature.

At work:
Roman is getting ready for his deployment if all goes well and on time.  Hoping that he will be back in time for the birth.
Pet news:
Roger's leg seems to be healing well and hopefully the cast will be off this week.  Alley has been jumping over the wall again.  Time to install a new electric fence.  She has been getting in the neighbor's yard!

Current Events:
Teresa is about 17 weeks along now.  Clothes are starting to get tighter.  According to www.thebump.com the baby is about the size of an onion.

At work:
Teresa is busy at work, with a few customers.  Still waiting to see if it will work out.

Pet News:
For those of you that don't already know, Roger and Alley got in a huge fight.  Alley ended up breaking Roger's leg and he even got a few stitches.  The Vet bill cost us an arm and a leg.

There is growth all over...

Starting to show!

Cute little headband.

I love these pants!  So cute!
