Last week we got a record amount of snow! It was so bad that Roman got 3 extra days off giving him a 'mini vacay' of 5 consecutive days off. The state of New Mexico ran out of gas and many homes have gas heating--including our own, leaving us without water and heat.
Roman's Birthday is coming up on February 15th. He'll be 33!
Pet News:
Our dog Alley has learned how to jump on top of our 5 foot stone wall! The house behind ours is lower and makes the drop about 9 feet. We are planning on getting an electric fence put on the wall to teach her not to jump over. The pet store sells a system, but it costs $200; an alternative method the pet store recommended was to buy items from Home Depot or Lowes and make a hot wire fence that would cost $50. I think that it will take about 2 times for Alley to learn...too bad I can't just rent one.
